For almost all intents and purposes, I'm Kalmia, though I've been known to go by Karu as a pet name. ^_~ I'm 19 years old, residing in Florida while dreaming of England and Japan. Been involved in artistic pursuits as far back as I can remember, and I'm currently attending college while working as a freelance doll artist. I love shoujo anime and manga, mostly somewhat older series, and presently, I'm working on an old mahou shoujo series of mine and living the dream of seeing it in print!
Pets
I share my home with a lot of animals, most of them not mine. Four cats, three dogs, and three parakeets. Out of these, the only one who calls me "mom" is my chihuahua, Sasha. She is white with fawn spots and possesses a dark brown nose and highly lethal cute-fu. (Contrary to popular belief, not all chihuahuas are mean and snappy!) We also have a black-and-white cow-spotted cat named Princess--we call her Pinny--who is basically identified as mine, since she wants to follow me around and meow at me whenever she sees me. (Unless Sasha is with me. ^^;)
