*pant*
Okay, enough of that. Time to be normal (if that's even possible...maybe calm would be a better word).
Hello. I'm Kaitlin, and this is my page (inner voice: it's Mondorific!(tm)). I'm currently finishing my sophomore year of high school, and have just taken the first true steps into the world of comicking with the launch of my Life in Shojo series! (look for Comicker-Kai on DeviantArt)
About me...well, I'm into anime and manga (obviously), video games (have been since the tender age of three), drawing and comicking, singing, music (mostly types of rock and techno), artsy kids (they rock), boots (they make me feel cool), emo and goth style (it's cool-looking), Magic: the Gathering (I'm still being beaten horrifically), geeks (they rock, too), living on a vampire's schedule, and spending ungodly amounts of time on the computer doing who-knows-what.
Pets
I have a fuzzy, walking sack of fat that can be scarcely recognized as a cat which I have lovingly dubbed Katherine. As much as it pains me to admit, I got her name from Power Rangers. It was the second season, about the time people were being replaced, and a girl who could turn into a cat named Katherine became the Pink Ranger. As you can plainly see, I was infatuated with Power Rangers as a child (which wasn't really all that long ago). Anyway, I am like my cat; all she does is whine, eat, and sleep.
I've also recently adopted two new cats, Dizzy (a kitten that seems to enjoy driving her claws into me at any given moment) and Bravo (a slightly older cat with a need to walk on my keyboard while I'm typing). For some reason, they seem to like having really weird, spontaneous make-out sessions (first, they're both girls, and second, I know that when cats rub heads, it's a sign of affection, but what do you call two cats licking each other in the face vigorously for fifteen minutes?)
My dad has a yellow lab named Mimi. The named spawned from my cousin Evan. When he was four, he called his parents Mimi and Papa. Those two words seemed to compose about 92.5% of his vocabulary at the time. After spending a few days at a little "campsite" that my aunt owned, the words were running rampant in my dad's head, and when he got a dog, he just decided to name her Mimi on the spur of the moment. She's kinda of old now, and while she can be playful at times, she seems to lay around in the house more than anything.
