Unable to save the life of an infant afflicted with a hideous, hissing tumor, she is assaulted by the boy’s parents, who claim he will be reborn to eternal life to rule the world in the name of an ancient deity, Azag-thoth. This gothic space fantasy follows Anna as she shifts between her horrific reality as a medic on the front lines of a war against the mysterious Xax and the supernatural life she leads in the recurring dream that draws closer to becoming her waking world.

JTHM: Directors cut

Graphic Novels thedoodlegirl - Wednesday, February 14, 2007 - 23:12

Johnny the Homicidal Maniac consists of a collection of strips, each carrying on over several pages. The story is told in a disjointed, non-linear fashion that mirrors the title character’s mental instability. It is often left unexplained which events in the story are objective and which are subjective, and very little back-story is given. This ambiguity again reflects Johnny’s character.

( thank you wikipedia )

Maggie is the middle sister, who is quiet and introverted and extremely tall and gets mistaken for a boy a lot.. And the youngest sister, Anita, who is the tomboy in the family and will scold her sisters, if necessary if they go overboard on buying books.
