Well about me, 15 years old. Flying Dutchman :P.

No in all seriousness, I started doing manga years ago but I kinda let it die off. Then in June or July I started to read manga again and I wanted to create my own manga.

So I started on a storyline with all the chapters (got 14 planned allready and expect atleast 4 more).

I was going to make some clothes designs and character designs today but I keep screwing up the faces..

I think its better not to tell my future profession cus I can pretty much guarantee you'll think I'm somekind of weirdo.

I'm fifteen. Junior high school student. Manga artist and afficianado. (However you spell that.) Currently wish to be a funeral director when I grow up. (I love dead people.) Have a boyfriend of almost four months. Have a fishbowl with no fish. (I think that's my new favorite tagline for myself.) Etc, etc, etc. Oh - only two people thus far on this site remember me. Has summer melted so many brains? I weep at the friends I have apparently lost.

However, if you can't remember me, does this mean I get hello cookies? Or do I get rememberance pie? (Me likes pie.)

Hi everyone, I just discovered this community today. =) It sounded promising, so I'll check it out.

I'm interested in meeting some committed comic artists who are working on their own stories with an intent to publish, either online or in print (or both, why the hell not?)

It took me a while to find a site for manga artists and writers, but while I'm here I'm searching for assistants. Right, a couple of friends and I are working on a project titled "AniArk", which will soon be the biggest manga industry in America. I found this website while looking for a place that i could dicuss and meet people without there being laughed at for my newbieness. I like this place because it isnt one of those groups that has a craploas of people. I hate those sites kinds of sites. Ironically, i do in fact have a livejournal and a facebook. -Spent so much time in school library, has been told by the LIBRARIAN to go outside(though, it's not like I need a tan...).

i'm native...
but, you have no clue what it's like.
I live on the rez *and for those who don't know what a rez is, it's just where all the natives live in one area*
and it's hard. My family is ok financially and my parents *luckily* don't drink or do drugs but all my other family members do.
and i have a lot of family members, considering that my grandmother had 13 kids.
i think that most of my family members are trying to dull the pain by drugs and alcohol because some of them have been thrown into residential school *residential school happened a long long time ago. it's when all the priests put all the native kids into a school and taught them that their laungage was evil and that they were savages. so, there are a lot of cases on kids getting beaten in the school.*

tom lives 'down under', where kangaroos roam the streets and no one goes anywhere without their trusty beer can and hairy-leg revealing shorts, yes'm.
of course tom adores manga, anime and internet connections, or tom wouldn't be here! tom also loves cats, dogs, llamas, octopi, anything else which has a plural form ending in 'i', and...is tired of speaking in the third person. makes brain hurt.

Well, as you may have noticed, I am new here. Pretty much haven't gotten used to the ropes around here and am in need of some master guidance. **bows**

A little about myself? Well, I'm someone who isn't confident with her art skills to actually make manga panels because they end up not turning out the way she plans them. D: She hopes that she will be confident soon enough. (She doesn't know why she's suddenly talking in third-person).

Currently, I have three stories, one of them going on the backburner for over a year now and the other two being worked on simultaneously.

It hits me that I've never put up a biography for y'alls to really get to know me, so I've decided that I'm going to be conceited. Veeeery conceited.

I am killijoy. It's not a real name, of course, but after all, does anyone here really know each other's full names? ...I don't think so. Of course, it should be obvious that I absolutely ADORE manga and anime (why else would I be here?). My very first manga was Yu-Gi-Oh! (I was little; it's slightly embarassing). The manga that got me hooked on reading all sorts of manga, however, was Fruits Basket. These two spawned my love for reading "backwards books" and in the beginning of sixth grade, I found that I had a slight talent for drawing. I practiced, and practiced, and practiced (you get the idea), and today have my style changed so much and developed new ways of drawing on top of my manga style - it's very exciting. As of currently, I've begun details in Human Anatomy, which I'm going to have to learn sooner or later.

Haldo all, my names Sam, but the online world knows to me as *DUN DUN DUN* Moonfire, Mooney, and Moon-chan! *Giggle* I'm 14, regularly sugarhigh and am a little crazy. I can't draw *cries* but I'm a wonderful writer (or at least I delude myself into thinking I am) I'm pretty punky and I dye my hair red (its really blonde!)
