Shoene ai I suggest Loveless. It's about anabused boy who has to battle these robots ((They're actuyl humans that are considered as machines)) to find out who killed his brother

Shoujo I suggest Full Moon Wo Shagashite. It's about a girl who has cancer and turns into a 16 year old.

Fantasy either Princess Ai or Wish. Princess ai is about a women who lands in Tokyo and has zero clue who she is. Wish is an angel is sent from heaven to find another angel and ends up falling in love with a human.

Also under no particual Genre I suggest Serentiy Rose. It's about this witch who causes this whole big huge mess over green ponies((I haven't read it in awhile TToTT))

Satomi Ikezawa made Othello, and frankly i'm surprised no one else voted for it, considering its themes. It's really hilarious, with cute little romantic scenes. I'd recommend it for anyone who's a fan of funny shoujo mangas. I'm also reading (or have read) Sugar Sugar Rune, Sokora Refugees, Sorcerers & Secretaries, Guru Guru Pon-Chan, Yotsuba&!, Azu-Manga Daioh, Magic Knight Rayearth, Wish, and I'm wanting to read Full Metal Alchemist and Trigun. Mostly shoujo and comedy, yes...but I'm rather tired of all these cute little adorable mangas that seem to be sprouting out of Japan's arse lately...hm, maybe I'm just bitter...heh.

Her titles are:
- Paradise Kiss
- Gonkinjo Monogatori

Her manga storyline's around fashion, art school, design, romance, genki japanese teenage girls, absolutely-gorgeous-but-"Bi"-guys.

worth a read...if you're someone who loves details in shoujo manga art work. ^_^

Oh yeah, Kare Kano is a great shoujo manga too! ^_^

I haven't been reading a whole lot of manga lately, but I have read DiGi Charat, Berserk (it's my brother's, crazy violent stuff. I'm really not that into it, I just read it because it was there.), and Shoujo Beat (I especially love Nana and Absolute Boyfriend).

I'm usually called a cat, because I swish between manga genre preferences, and change my 'manga moods' in the blink of an eye. I generally like all of the genres, my favorites right now being horror (that make you think, not just eyeballs shooting out, and other gross effects), romance (everyone needs a little lovin'), and fantasy (ah, a good workout for my imagination).

I have the DiGi Charat Theatre books by Broccoli - are you telling me they finally put out the manga that accompanies the anime? I've always loved Koge-Donbo!

Miki Aihara wrote Tokyo Boys and Girls. Yuu Watase wrote Absolute Boyfriend as well Imadoki, Alice 19th, Ceres, and Fushigi Yugi. Absolute Boyfriend is about a girl who live alone and is tricked into order a custom "Absolute Boyfriend" android. She can't afford to pay for it so she becomes part of a test project so that the "Absolute Boyfriend" can gather more data about women.
