I think that the Banner thing is a good idea. It would be great to see adds for other sites, just so people get an idea whats out there. It was hard enough for me to find this site, it would be great to have a window to see what other kinda sites are on the web, 'cause visiting the same 5 sites twice a day gets boring. And its amazing what a simple banner can do. Three outa Four voices in my head agree that its a good idea, the fourth one...well...we try not to listen to him. I agree with voices 1 through 3. The banner things sounds cool. My only concern is where on the site would it go, and would it interfere with our site's aesthetic lovliness in any way?

I can tweak the display to have a nice little banner display near the top or bottom of the page (probably the bottom). Ideally I wuold like on in the nav bars, but that's not a standard banner size. Does anyone else have a display suggestion? I have two candidates for banner/link exchanges:

twelvetwelve.com and gothicbeauty.com

I've no idea if they would link back, but they already link to my other site. I think it would be refreshing, too.

yeah, the bottom is definitley the best- i hate web sites where you cant tell the diference between the title and the advertisments.
or even better, is it possible to make one whole page dedicated to links banners etc etc etc- it could be really great!

Banners sound great. May I suggest Megatokyo.com! Angryalien.com and illwillpress.com. All very fun sites...

And as for banner placement..there is that slightly blank white space at the very top...and their is the grey area on the sides...

other than that..adds can fit in between the menus...
