I guess the first thing you do is look thorugh magazines. I, personally, love to draw hair. Spiky hair, especially.

It's called animation, dear. :) And there is a difference between manga style drawing and anime style.

It's ture, I tell you. Anime and manga styles are very different. Manga focuses much more on texture and often have more detail. In anime detail gets dropped somewhat to make animation and coloring easier.

Hmm...well anime comes from manga love that include the story and the character designs.

That's not true, Coolie. Only some anime are based on manga. In fact, some manga are actually based on anime.

hair is draw with smooth full strokes. Just copy hair styles you may see around you, just section the hair into chunks and try to stylize it a bit.

I won't be of much help, I can't draw hair well either, mostly because I have troubles decideing what kind of hair I want to draw.

Surely it's easier to just use hair being blown by the wind rather than a tree being blown by the wind if your using that method... ?

hair can be really easy to draw you know.
with hair you don't need to look after^proprtions and other irritating stuff.
you can go wild!!
and btw: draw bangs they look good in manga: you begin at the side of the face(that's closest to you) and just draw some kind of points but a bit bended (hard to explain lol) away from the face. do this until you reach the other side of the face.
