Spamming is something that happens everywhere from time to time, guys. You'll notice that those last threads disappeared because the last outbreak has already been taken care of. Rachel will take care of these new pieces of spam just as the last.

I'm always keeping an eye out for that sort of thing in order to let Rachel know about it. If you want a way to formally complain about it, send me a PM. Either way, I always get on it.

Not really. Those ads are there intentionally. They help pay for MangaPunk.com. The thing with Google ads is that the content is controlled by the keywords found within the page their on.

But I figure you (the owner of the site, not you as such) must be able to how do you say... moderate(?) the content of the adds?

As far as I am aware, the content of Google ads is controlled by the Google engine, which shows results based on given keywords (just like when you're researching something on the search engine). I doubt Rachel (or anyone with Google ads) has much power over the content, if any.

As for our lovely spammers, who join this site for the sole purpose of polluting our forums, all of their garbage can be tossed out as soon as Rachel is made aware of it. I think it goes without saying that all spammers have their accounts deleted.

However, I honestly don't know if our system enables Rachel to do IP banning (which means the computer used to do the spamming can no longer be used to create a MP account); so it may be possible for a banned individual to simply sign-up again and begin his/her treachery anew.

For specifics on any of that (or to hear what the horse itself has to say), I suggest e-mailing Rachel herself and asking her (crowhen at yahoo dot com).
