Let's not give homosexuality a negative connotation, o.k.?
I think it's easier to say what he hasn't done than what he has done.

He hasn't improved the quality of life for the majority of Americans.
He hasn't stopped corporations from running roughshod over people and destroying our planet.
He hasn't respected the law, stating that he was above it. He has made several legal violations, and gotten away with it.
He hasn't the guts to address the real underlying issues behind many of our society's problems.
He hasn't a clue about 90% of the things that go on in this world.

He's not as stupid as he

rabbitpiss; Sunday, May 28, 2006 - 10:37

He's not as stupid as he seem. He purposely fucks up unity of Shiahs and Sunnis in Muslim countries to continue exploiting their oil resource for the benefit of you Americans. Like he said, you're addicted to oil. I don't see anything you Americans are doing to stop him bombing mosques and places of prayer. Infact, I don't see anybody doing anything apart from complaining/joking how stupid he is on late night tv shows. How many people dead will it take to realize that too many people have died? Blergh, it's not his fault altogether, you have to blame yourselves too. Take note of what the Thais forced Thaksin to do, what Phillipines are initiating Arroyo to do. Sometimes, I just hate America.

You're right, Rabbit; however, as hard as it may be to believe, those of us here who are always complaining about him are part of a minority. The majority of the country supports Bush in all (if not most) of his actions. There's plenty we could do, but very little that's even remotely likely to work. The most we can do is (a) talk about it and get others to see just how blind-sighted they've been throughout this whole ordeal and/or (b)grow up to be controversial writers/political activists/politicians and dedicate our lives to reforming a system of government that makes it so easy for the corrupted to take advantage of the weak. I intend to do both with my life, believe it or not. I also intend to achieve a greater voice than that of just some high school senior before making any serious attempts. I'm an idealist, but I'm not naive.

As far as all that oil for us Americans, my car certainly hasn't seen any of it. You'd think if they were taking that much oil, gas wouldn't cost about 4 bucks a flippin' gallon.

Because you're doing so much more than we are. In fact, I almost think what you're doing is worse. By saying "Ugh, those Americans are so stupid, they're so lazy," aren't you being hypocritical? I don't see any difference between that and "God, Bush is so stupid. Why the hell doesn't he do something?"

No, what I said is he wasn't

rabbitpiss; Saturday, June 3, 2006 - 13:39

No, what I said is he wasn't the only one to blame. There was some 60 mil odd citizens that voted for him, nein? I never said you were lazy, just that you choose to steadily ignore the amount of hurt your ever-so apt leader causes to instead carry on with your life with a at-least-it's-not-me-what-can-I-do attitude. While Mtv just moves on for another day. America needs more reformation than the fucking EU.

And I can't do anything, believe me. It's YOUR president. If he can influence the UN to be his tool for international bullying, what the hell can be expected of me to stop him.. I guess if the majority like joey says doen't agree, then power to you for spreading the propaganda of overthrowing bush. Like you said, that's as much a you can do.

But let's not play the blame game, k? Better thing to do. Besides, after Bush gets assasinated another one will rise from his ashes.

You're presuming the election was fair and honest. Truth be told, there has been a lot of circumstantial evidence to suggest that it was rigged, especially in many of the big red states.

It's sad, really. To use an analogy, the USA right now is like a big light up sign with lots of light bulbs. Every day, porkbarrel projects get passed that make the sign grow bigger. Unfortunately, they leave no money for the electricity bill. Pretty soon, the electric company will shut the power off. Then where will we be?

Story here

Quote:
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Offering a grammar lesson guaranteed to make any English teacher cringe, President George W. Bush told a group of New York school kids on Wednesday: "Childrens do learn."

But apparently, President Bush doesn't.

Quote:
Bush made his latest grammatical slip-up at a made-for-TV event where he urged Congress to reauthorize the No Child Left Behind Act, the centrepiece of his education policy, as he touted a new national report card on improved test scores.

Which might have actually worked had it been funded properly.

Quote:
During his first presidential campaign, Bush -- who promised to be the "education president" -- once asked: "Is our children learning?"

I'd have to go with no on that one.

In other monkey boy news, he's declared he's not going to pull troops out of Iraq in his term, leaving that mess for the next president. This is just unconscionable. You did this mess, George, you get us out of it! >_<

Reiko Kitsune; Thursday, September 27, 2007 - 21:02

I am partially for leaving soldiers in Iraq, if we don't fight them their, we fight them in our own countries.

There is allot I do disagree with about the war. It shouldn't have anything to do with oil, all countries should be trying to go more green, using oil has consequences that affect the whole world, and not just in the "HOLY CRAP! THE ICECAPS ARE MELTING!" way. Oil and gas cause war, war causes death, I think I just made a very repetitive point, but there is actually a pattern in there.

Now why doesn't this surprise me?

quamp; Saturday, March 8, 2008 - 00:49

Story here

Quote:
WASHINGTON - The White House says President Bush will veto legislation on Saturday that would have barred the CIA from using waterboarding — a technique that simulates drowning — and other harsh interrogation methods on terror suspects.

Screw how we look to the world. Screw how the American public feels. Hell, SCREW 'EM ALL!!

Quote:
Bush has said the bill would harm the government's ability to prevent future attacks.

Georgie, are you really this out of touch with things?

Quote:
The bill would restrict the CIA to using only the 19 interrogation techniques listed in the Army field manual.

The legislation would bar the CIA from using waterboarding, sensory deprivation or other coercive methods to break a prisoner who refuses to answer questions. Those practices were banned by the military in 2006, but the president wants the harsh interrogation methods to be a part of the CIA's toolbox.

Further evidence that our president is a sadist.

Quote:
"President Bush's veto will be one of the most shameful acts of his presidency," Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., said in a statement Friday. "Unless Congress overrides the veto, it will go down in history as a flagrant insult to the rule of law and a serious stain on the good name of America in the eyes of the world."

He noted that the Army field manual contends that harsh interrogation is a "poor technique that yields unreliable results, may damage subsequent collection efforts, and can induce the source to say what he thinks the (interrogator) wants to hear."

So let's use it liberally!! [/saracasm]

I think the biggest tragedy of Bush's stupidity is that the American public is so used to it that they've become apathetic about it.

He isn't stupid, he doesn't lack in his capacity to learn...he's just IGNORANT and to LAZY TO LEARN...like MOST (not all) American's are...
in order to keep control over a population they need to have as little education as possilble...enough to do their jobs but not enough to question their existance...

...the real power of course lies with that handful of people who are the real owners of all the worlds wealth, they are the ones who turn us against each other on the basis of faith and ethnicity, on the basis of our way of life, so that we will buy their weapons, they are the ones who put in power the attractive charismatic "leaders" to use as puppets, to sway the people, to make the laws so that those few gain even more power. They suck nations drier then any drought ever could and move on to the next. America was the worlds super power, weathy and infulential, and they've used that...now look at The United States now...Trillions of dollars in debt because of this war in Iraq...now were does all that money go?...well its preety obvious isn't it...Just think about it...the Cold War...America had emerged weathy and powerful after WW2, but their would be no need to make any more bombs if there was no enemy...The USSR was perfect for "their" purpose..."oh we have to worry about the communists!!! they'll take over if we don't prepare our selves!" Who did you think profited from all those weapons that were made, in preperation for a war that never happened? And, then The USSR collapsed, and the US had no enemy to fight...but...along comes Al-Qaida...who by the way were origanialy, along with the Taliban, freedom fighters who resisted the Soviet Invasion of Afganistan, and had been trained and equiped by the CIA (also the war in Afganistan was what broke the back of the USSR, draining its resouces).
Now "they" are doing the same with USA, putting it in a pointless war that won't stop untill The US is so weak its usless to "them" and they will move on to another growing econmic power, like India, China, or Russia which is starting to regain its old strength...just connect the dots my friends...if you take a step back you will see the whole picture...

We are ALL puppets, every single one of us...and there is not a thing ANYONE can do to "fix" the world...because its not broken...it the way its been forever...Empires will rise and fall, wars waged, finally one or lost, and people will continue on with their short miserable existance, working for 'them' and buying from 'them'...... so don't blame Bush...he's in the same boat as you guys...
