Is it only a matter of time?

David Doub; Tuesday, July 8, 2008 - 03:17

Is it only a matter of time? At the rate language warps because of influences like the internet, pop culture, and different regions, will the word "Fangirl" ever catch on before 20 other word have been created and abandoned to define the meaning of "fangirl".

Maybe in the future langauge will change so rapidly you'll be hard press to understand your neighbor down the road more or less a person from another country?

Maybe will won't be able to use dictionaries or even Wikis because things will change too fast?
