Because if thats just her being friendly or she's just flirty with everyone its ok, but if she wants it to be seen as cheating or she's stringing your friend along on purpose then there's a problem.

If this girl was my girlfriend I wouldn't have a problem with this. A kiss on the cheek or a hug is nothing to be insecure about. It is just affection shown between friends. I mean I kissed and hugged the girls in my class and their boyfriends never had a problem with it. It's all about trusting not only your partner but especially in your manhood...or womanhood.

I've got a girlfriend and I've been talking to a girl who just randomly called me at 1 in the morning, just talking as friends about life and friends and normal stuff (just background info). Anyway, this girl has been making advances, and rather then telling her I'm spoken for I've just been saying I don't know her that well (in case I'm misunderstanding her, I don't want to look like a fool). Well theoretically you are not doing anything wrong to your girlfriend, but in reality... seems like you are keeping your options open and letting this girl think something could happen. Plus you are not telling your girlfriend about another girl making repeated advances on you... so you are being unfair to both girls kind of :)

Last girl I went out with, had a fiance when I started seeing her... she broke up with her fiance to go out with me (bear in mind I am only 20 and she was only 21). Do you reckon it is wrong to go after someone that is taken if there is obviously something between you?

'Cos the way I see it, I would never EVER cheat on one of my girlfriends, but if someone else is willing to cheat on/leave their other half, then surely they can't be that happy?
And it puts them in the wrong not the person they are cheating with?

I agree with Red... it's a little dishonest. Plant, I'd bring up your girlfriend offhandedly in a conversation with this other girl if I were you.

In terms of someone jumping ship for you... I would not consummate any feelings for someone until they were officially separated from their relationship. But if they want to break up with their beau for my luscious self... that's their (arguably brilliant) choice.

We didn't really do anything while she was still with her fiance, lots of flirting and going out for drinks and such, but nothing serious till she broke it off.

One thing I do feel a bit bad about... I broke up with her less than a month later... I didn't realise at the start that she was a bit of a nutcase ^^ but I am pretty sure neither of us were looking for anything serious.

We actually work together, was a bit awkward at first... but things are fine now, this was all like... 4 or 5 months ago now, jeez I didn't realise it was so long ago lol. Seems like it was really recent.

This is one of those very difficult situations. I really wish I could say there was an easy solution, but there isn't. You really have to weigh all your options carefully. Talk to others that know what's going on. You may have to hurt your friend to help, or talking about it could make it worse.
