(I'm actually not that new but still I might as well post one of these for some future refrence and stuff so..here goes)
There was once a little girl who could never forget there was a once upon a time.
She never knew her real Mummy . She liked to think her mother was a beautiful kind lady with long black flowing hair and pretty clothes that had to go away one day and could never return instead of a half mental young woman barely 19 that topped herself the day the little girl was born.
She wished she never knew her real Daddy for he was wicked and mean. Her and her brother Artimus were locked in the dark in the cold and Artimus was forced to look for scraps to feed him and his little sister. Daddy also liked playing games of rape and random torture on both his children but then came the day of Daddy's BIG mistake.
He locked the little girl in the washing machine (barely used natrually) and turned it on. Daddy panicked when he saw it fill with water though and broke the glass and dragged the little girl through. He took one look at her burns and cuts and he ran.
Soon after the children were put in care. Artimus however as the little girl later found out was half blind from lack of light and dumb , despite being almost 8 years old. So he was put in a boys speical insutution.
Astriel herself was admitted to a special insutution. She was an insominac , Dreams of Daddys hands and Daddys touch kept her awake at night.
Although she was slow like her brother at learning certin basic skills (How to behave in public , How to talk , How to walk properly etc) , When she was 8 she had mostly everything under control , apart from maybe the occiasional outburst.
When she was 12 She miraculously found a family willing to adopt her. This was the Mc Carthy family who had two daughters , Rochelle and Kayleigh. She still grugdingly calls them her offical parents to this day.
They were strict catholics and believed that her was a life of sin and she was wrong. So wrong. But they could change her. For the good of themselves. And God.
She in relation turned more sullen and sarcastic and became an Atheist. For this the Mc Carthy family have never really accepted her.
She was called the beast , the bulldog , the slut and the goth in high school. She was a tall girl with a child bearing figure. Her hair was a dark brown like her fathers and was always in her face. She hung around with boys because she found girls too complicated. And she was scared that she fancied them. At least if you had a beer with a boy mate you vaugly fancied it was ok to kiss them. You could blame the beer then. How on earth do you explain imagining your best friend Sophie naked and going mad with lust when you notice your friend Cass has a fucking g-string on? Sophie found out though. And then as well as a slut she was a lesbian too.
When she was 14 she was dianognosed with manic depression. This meant that she sort of hit off between two extreme moods constantly , no middle without meds , Just mania moods where she became horny and hyper and reckless and depressive moods where she was depressed and sucidal.
Then she met Myles.
She was still the fourteen year old akward misfit and he a cool 16 year old musician. He loved her and called her his angel and he made her feel safe.
Suddenly everything was thrown into chaos again. She was tiny and scared. They started having sex. Then the condom split. The Mc Carthys and her soical worker wanted her to have an abortion. They ran away together and lived on the streets. She had a baby and a abandoned house to call her own at 15. And then..Myles was gone.
The papers say he was killed by a rival gang. Such a stupid thing are turf wars. The little girl lost her own little girl after she tried to commit sucide . Myles' brother stopped her and got her working as a waitress and in college and suddenly everything was on track.
Artimus though almost 25 is still instutionlised. He learnt to speak and walk properly but has not progressed mentally much futher then nine. Ever seen a man in a slayer t-shirt sit cross-legged playing with toys like a kid? Or bawl his eyes out when he hits himself against say the table?
The Mc Carthys are still in touch. They are still ever disaproving.
The girl lives with two friends and a cat called Bundy. Her past might of been bad but hey , what doesn't kill Astriel Tammy Mc Grath (Orignal family name) will make her stronger.
(God sorry its so long! anyway thats pretty much my life up till now summarised)
