White as the winter snow. Mostly German with 2% of "other," which doesn't show in me but expressed itself in one of my aunts.

I take care of my pale skin. I use heavy duty sunblock and avoid tanning at all costs. White skin isn't much fun in that respect. I think I don't have as many capillaries in my skin or my circulation is poor because when I get cut, it just will not heal, and I end up with a scar anyway. I once broke out in hives, and the little cuts wouldn't leave for like six months. They finally started going when I started spraying my skin with fungicides.

I'm white. I'm for sure Irish, German and Norweigien (<-- How suprising being from Minnesota and all). I'm also a tiny bit Native American, you'd never know though because I'm about as white as they come, and I have blue-ish eyes. Also, my dad has no idea what's on his side of the family so I could be half Scottish for all I know.

I'm classified by the government as a white hispanic. My great grandmother is a black descendent of the African slaves brought to Cuba by the Spanish. My great grandfather was a blonde, blue-eyed, white-as-they-come Spaniard. Both my parents are Cuban, which automatically makes them 1/3 black, 1/3 white, and 1/3 Chinese.

So I'm a all over the place. lol.

I had most of my race ancestry mapped out, but I misplaced it. I'm pretty much caucasian, German and Irish, with 1/32nd of Native American.

Lets see, I dont know by the numbers, But I know that my skin is so pale it blinds all who see it in the daylight. I'm white, my family hails from Scotland and somewhere further north in the British iles...
I'm not too very sure on my Dad's side of the family, I hear there is some Cherokee in there though, as well as Powatan (which is probably way to far back in there to matter). As for my Mother's side, I know that the family was kicked out of Scotland for stealing cattle...that's what I hear anyway.
Gee, I feel a little lost not knowing my make up.

If you're eyes change color from grey to green or blue, it means they are Hazel, as are my eyes. I got ash/dirty blonde hair and as stated before irratated white skin. Plenty of bloodveins though, they used to get mistaken for juice on my face as a child...which led to endless rubbing by adults thinking I was a messy eater. >.<

That reminds me of my friend's eyes. They look green most of the time, but somedays she'll have one blue eye and one grey one (naturally, mind you). It's crazy-cool.

I think Hazel cover's lots of colors, I'm not really too sure. I've always been told that since my eyes change color they're hazel. I have dark black rings around the outside of my iris's.

Rachel, are your "olive rings" like a sunburst from the center or are they ont he outside? Green Olive or Black olive?

My race is odd, I'm half Vietnamese and Half European (a mutt)

I sprout auburn hair and hazel eyes, but yet I speak fluent vietnamese, I don't share the same hair color or eye color as my parents. I look like my grandparents.

My eyes are hazel with a brown ring around the center. I also have brown hair, but it used to be sun blonde. (although it's starting to be replaced by gray hair.) :(

A long time ago in Europe, specifically in France, my ancestor was a Hugenot (I think that's how you spell it). Hugenots faced Religious persicution so in order to escape this he left France to become a plantation and slave owner in Barbados. There he met and fell in love with one of his slaves. Together they had children out of wed-lock. In all with both my mother and my dad combined I'm Native American,West Indian, Pakistanian, French, African American. I think that's about it.

Well, I'm 1/4 Scottish, 1/2 Irish, 1/4 German, and I think the rest of me is Cherokee which doesnt really show except for my flat feet and full forehead. At least thats what everyone says.
I can sympathize with Rachel. I'm very pale too. If I dont put on a lot of sunscreen I tend to become as red as a cooked lobster. XP Everyone should avoid tanning anyways. Its bad for you

I thought you meant omething like the Amazing race for some reason. I guess call me a South Asian? I'm Malay, Indonesian and Thai mixed. But I'm more Malay than anything else. Actually, just call me an Asian. Much love for my continent <3 (except for the violent side of Asia that *ehem* is currently reforming, that's scary to live in, honestly.) My hair and eyes was and still is black. You don't get much variation over here like in European countries. I laugh when I hear Caucasian people aying he can't tell from a South Korean to a Vietnamese to a Chinese. Seriously, if I ever go to their country, all I get is, 'Are you from China?'

I'm just 50% swedish and 50% portuguese. The part I like is that my eyes are such a dark brown, alot of people think they're black ^^
My dad says that we were prolly from Germany (from the swedish side) coz of our last name.

All they know is that the furthest back they could traces was a guy called 'Mikael' or similar, and he was a silversmith.

And yes, SOME caucasians can tell the difference. I lived singapore. There you get all kinds of people from all over the world. They even had to make the national language (mandarin) something that no one actually spoke normally so that no one would get insulted.

Well, I don't know so much about ancestry, I read an article about all humans came from one place: Europe or Asia. Then they spread out all over the place, and became other people, and made up different languages and beliefs. Why are almond shaped eyes called' Chinese eyes'? According to the article, it was because they worked all day in the sun. So we are probably 1% or less of everything.

I'm Chinese American for now.

Mandarin...people do speak Mandarin. Here in New York, you try to ask for directions, they answer in Mandarin. (Woa bu mein by.) I used to speak Mandarin, but forgot. My mom and aunt can speak Mandarin, Spanish, Cantonese, Taiwanese fluently. Although Taiwanese (I think it's Taiwanese) and Cantonese are almost the same.

There are 52 (or more) dialects of Chinese. Whew.

Maybe there aren't as much Mandarin people in Singapore. :/

Oh, yeah, I speak Cantonese/Taiwanese. And I'm still not sure if it's Taiwanese or some other dialect.

EDIT: There's no such thing as black eyes, though. Black hair, yes, black eyes, no. Unless it's a bruised black eye. ^-^
