A Vampires Soul Plot Summary
Manga Script comming soon
--------------------Prelude( Written and not ment to be drawn)-----------------------------
At the beginning of man's creation, Kami-sama gave to Adam and Eve a warning; -If they were to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge, they would be rendered helpless and succumb to evil through their loss of purity.
Akuma, after hearing of this, deceived Eve into telling Adam that he would gain great knowledge and power through eating from this tree and this was the reason for Kami-sama saying not to do so. But her secrets she kept guarded with lies, for she had already succumbed to the will of Akuma, and once Adam had eaten from the tree of knowledge, Akuma bestowed upon him what Kami-sama knew to be the very meaning of his warning to Adam and Eve. A "Hanone"(Fang), one of Akumas blood and bone.
Of course Adam did not know, but this Hanone’s purpose was to bend upon him the will of Akuma through consuming Adams soul. And when his soul left this world it, as well as the Hanone, were to lay dormant in the spirit world until Akumas beckoning.
This time of resurrection came as the earth claimed the year 2012, marking the beginning to a coming end.
And at the first light of this new year, Akuma brought forth the Hanone out of its dormancy sealing it unto the one first born into this new generation. He was to be cursed to lead also the new world under the rule of Akuma. And through this magical creation the Vampire called Hiyami was awoken.

-----Plot Summary---------
Setting- Tokyo Japan - year 2012
On the eve of the new year Hiyami Harujimi and his girlfriend go out on their one year anniversary. They talk about everything that they have endured throughout their relationship and remember all of the things that they went through together and the new experiances they have shared. Hiyami doesn't make it home after their night out.

-------------------I skipped a chapter ^…^---------------------
The first day of Hiyamis awakening, he, having escaped through the cover of darkness the previous night, sets out to kill. Hiyami discovers it in his nature and well within his ability to mow through humans using his new strength. Over the course of that night he wipes out almost the entire city of Tokyo. He was strong, soon he felt the feeding he had done futile and from then on he had only meant to kill.. kill as many worthless humans he could lure his way. The citizens are quite unaware for the people he changed still acted themselves, their appetites merely changed a little. The vampires are able to invade a town under no suspicion, they present themselves as normal humans and then, they attack. And after his long night was over and his bloodlust had made half his hometown his acquaintance, Hiyami dashed from his position, unaware that his inner good had told him the need to escape from this place. His mind could only see one place to go, so he set his eyes upon the school, where the only place open to him would be “their” Tower Room. He and Kyoko had used this room in order be alone during their lunch hour and sometimes after school hours. The secret room was atop the highest tower their rich school had acclaimed. It was hidden by a false window, the window appears to be just that, but if you open it you will discover the small classroomsized room. The window faces the side of the school where there is below a courtyard. As far as the rest of the school knew, the room was an empty space, uncharted as a room to the school, it was merely meant to serve as a point on the tower. It’s floor came to be due to the hall below needing a ceiling, thus completing the room.
Hiyami stood sagging in the small tower, his arms twisted around his own weak agonizing body, and from beyond his madness the opaque window opens once more. Kyoko knew he would be there. She rushes to him in hopes to save their love, to save him from himself. As his burning body turns swiftly around, eyes aglow, she rushes to him with her arms open and fully embraces him, tears flowing down her hot cheeks as she watches him struggle free from the beast within. Hugging him she whispers, I love you, and Akumas bloodlust, amassed in the Hanone for thousands of years, became nothing under the power of love. When the connection to Akuma broke **magical sparks appear like in Miyazaki films ^_^** and Hiyami smiles at Kyoko, embracing her, knowing that it could only have been her, the one to save him from that disaster. But now another problem was at hand, their beloved hometown was a collective monster fest. No problem, the solution is simple, Hiyami is now a vampire with no bloodlust, and thus granting him a new purpose. Hiyami and Kyodo look into each others eyes and she knows what he was saying.. it has to be done. For the good of everyone, and for the equality between them, she has to become a vampire! He kisses her roughly and before another seconds notice, teeth sink deep into her veins, hearts pounding as the blood is transferred out of one and into the other awaiting its warm life. That’s what this is.. New life.
And thus the story begins.

There had always been tales passed down of demons and the monks who eluded those demons but that time had been long ago.. So Hiyami and Kyoko go off on a mission to find help from the prevalent monks still existing today.

Running across rooftops in search of a shrine they came to a stop at the most prominent Buddhist temple, the owner of this place was a wealthy priest whose daughter is a Miko.

Over dinner (as they were taken in and served by this priest and wishing for his ear, he asked his daughter to serve their guests kindly) they then related to this priest what had happened and upon understanding why they chose to inquire upon him he began to tell of how times were long ago in the feudal period of Japan and why it was kept in his family to pass down their old arts. His daughter was fully versed in the old arts of archery as well as several other combat skills. She sat down to talk with them at her fathers request, she was sent with them to be of assistance.

*Kyoko - “Trust within the powers that I have gained, we will defeat them. Just join with us, Without our power you will not be able to fend off the demons who will only take your blood and hope to turn you against us.
*Miko- “To become.. awakened… huh? I will not fall into this!. It will be within my own power, my own strength that I shall prosper, to surpass suffering one must first come to know true suffering, I will journey in my new light to relieve myself from this, it is my vow, I shall conquer the evils that threaten to triumph this our world, I trust through this I will come to know true suffering beyond my comprehension, though.. All of it will be for good.. Father…”
*Kyoko- Why don’t you listen?
*Miko- It is a sin, unruly against nature, and I shall not give up my hope.
*The Priest- “Let me tell you of one more thing.. It’s origins came from the feudal era, there haven’t been demons since then, and long ago the monks of the temples in Japan were the high powers and decided to bless the most royal bloodline then, with the power to destroy demons using the only thing natural in that time, there was a lot of blood. This was the result of every battle then, their became Blood blade users. My daughter, being of this bloodline shall be able to use it, it will awaken at her first sight of this demon. It will only be a natural instinct of how to use it though, she will be in need of assistance.”
*Hiyami- “Then with this surely she will be good enough, I wont have her soul taken away needlessly. Please come with us now Miko.

Blood-Blade users Capabilities:
If there is any blood at all in the air, the user draws the blood into the center of his palms, closes them and the blood gives him power. As the experiance of the user grows, so does his ability to draw power from the blood. The blood-blade user has different levels of the weapons it can draw from the power depending on his own experiance.
Second level abilities - Blood-Bringing - allows the user to manipualate a persons blood.
A high level user can call the blood from an oponents body, this is the only technique this ability is used for. One must have enough experiance to delve into anothers body. This technique is called blood-letting. Though it is a dark technique.

(Needs the action sequence for when the town is destroyed..)

I agree with Neila

I agree with Neila though...it makes it corny, like your trying to hard to make it "real manga".

Tanks for the feedback, but

Kurenai Ichi; Thursday, November 22, 2007 - 15:53

Tanks for the feedback, but it as well as this prelude is useless now, I changed the entire story last night because I was stuck on this bad plot line. LOL
Oh and BTW the "made up names" are just the japanese translation for their english names.. So I didnt make that up.

~ Why would I not try to make this a real manga? Not doing that would lead only to a waist of my efforts.

The simple fact is that I despise american "manga" for lack of a better word that is.
I dont care how white I am, who is to say that I can not make something for japan?
Trust me, when I am done you will not care about where I'm from, but you will marvell at my creation.

Kurenai Ichi; Friday, November 23, 2007 - 19:35

I dont like the way american "anime" is drawn. The first part of my argument was stating that I dont like american manga or anime and that is true, but what I was trying to relay was that I can make a japanese style manga even if I dont live in Japan. Not only americans beleive in heaven and hell you know, thats just an old fashoned and ignorant way of thinking.

- No offence intended to all of the american anime/manga lovers, my opinion is simply that, an opinion.

And I am definately continuing off of this ^.~

Kurena's basically saying

Joamette Gil; Friday, November 23, 2007 - 22:29

Kurenai's basically saying that she doesn't like drawings that are manga-inspired but rather she prefers drawings that mimic the manga style perfectly.

I hate to burst your bubble dear, but not all Japanese artists draw in the same style either; so how exactly can you define what "real" manga is? Seeing as the word "manga" only means "comic" in Japanese, it's arguable that the only thing that makes manga "real" is coming from Japan. In this case, you couldn't make "real" manga unless you moved to Japan and became a citizen.

That's ridiculous, of course. Just as ridiculous as asserting that you're any different from any other American drawing in a style they believe resembles the "Japanese style" (which, remember, varies from manga-ka to manga-ka). A manga is a comic. You're making a comic. No matter how you draw the people, what you name them, or where the story takes place, that's all you're doing: making a comic.

Comic, manga - it all means bunch of pictures telling a story. There is no difference.

I'm guessing that accurately portraying a classical Japanese drawing style as well as Japanese culture within your story may be a big priority to you. That's fine. Go on ahead with that. But that doesn't make the work of other American creators (who aren't aiming to illustrate Japan and just happen to feel like drawing similarly to the Japanese) "bad."

That being said, I do agree that there's no problem with you renaming your characters. Some people will find it pretentious, as you've just learned today, while others simply won't care - they'll be too busy enjoying your story (assuming you work hard and do the best job you can do).

And just for the record, "anime" means "animation," which no one's even talking about right now. ^_^* lol

thnxz though i'm not so dence as to talk about things that I know nothing of, (anime) I only refered to them (me being frustrated) because this might end up as an anime X) I think it would be better that way.

&& that first sentence describes exatly how I feel ^.^

Maybe it needs to be fleshed out more?

David Doub; Saturday, November 24, 2007 - 19:05

So in 2012 a demon called Hiyami is made and wins both heaven and hell? And this same demon is the lead character?

Honestly this isn't really enough for me to go off of. Is this meant to be a text piece at the begining of manga? It's told in a straight foward manner and there's no drama to it to make it grab me as a reader. There's just isn't enough to it, no tension, no conflict, no driving force behind it.

Off Topic, the Gazette does rock :)

And I totally didn't see the "Hiyami" part. That's the name of the demon who tries to take over humanity in my apocalyptic story concept (no lie). xD

HOHO yes! Joey is soo right! It is just has shes said!

A prelude (in this case as well as most of the time dealing in many stories) is simply to notify the reader or potential reader about somethig that has already happened.. This is by no means going to be the entire story line... that would be lame and too simple and short for an entire manga, so I just chose to use this style in relating to the potential reader what has already happened; and the rest of the story will take place after that. However I could have chose to put all of this into the story ** add emotions and things here and there** but I found that approach rather annoying myself and it would also delay the making of the story, though I will take your criticism in to consideration for a little longer and decide weather a prelude is right for this story or not. But for now, just think of this as a realy monotone voice speaking at you like.. (If you've watched Bleach eps around 120).. That intro guy ^.^

Joamette Gil; Saturday, November 24, 2007 - 22:36

So, basically, your story is about what happens after Hiyami takes over, right?
It would be helpful to include some details about what actually is going to be taking place in the story. A prelude is a start, but there isn't much you can say about a prelude. It's just background information the reader needs in order to understand the actual story... which we know nothing about yet... lol.

Kurenai Ichi; Saturday, November 24, 2007 - 22:49

^.^ mmmm.. Well actualy i've just started this.. So at the time I posted it I had no clue what the story line was gonna be. And right now i've only got two characters (who are suisuku and Hiyami)besides Akuma and thats just in the storys begining which im currently working on.. So basically i've only got a few pages, if that as of now. mostly of a rough draft of the beging of the story as well as some character profiles. And im waiting patiently for the rest of the story to unfold into a greater plot. Also.. I'm just a bit stuck without an artist and someone to talk to about this to get them juces flowing in, so for now my progress comes in very.. May I repeat, very tiny bursts of writing sprees. But sence you seem so interested i'll post those later. ^_~

Yes withought doubt those are Christian beleifs.. Although the history is most definately altered I am thinking about incorperating some of their morals into the plot line withought the story being completely bassed around learning. I still dont know what genre this will be but my brother seems to think it could work out with just about any genre but he was thinking about a horror the most. Now that would be fun ^.~

Well from what I read it may be a supernatural/fiction. Maybe horror depending on the events that occur in the story. And I must confes a slight sense of worry I had when I started reading that it was going to be similar to my unpublished Novel, "Princess Of The Damned." (See Synopsis Here:http://hanyouyomi.deviantart.com/journal/) Hopefully this will help in seeing how you can ad christian morals without having it based around learning. If you desire a more in depth explaination I'd be glad to help...

And I took out the prior ending lines that Kirohi said, I dont think it will be like that at all. It just doesnt feel right for the story, but i'll keep building off of his charactor. :)

Pardon the title, because I've come across many writers with good principles, much like yourself. It's just rare that's all. And hopefully you build up characters faster than I can.... But I understand your predicament in that area not wanting to use material from another's work. I'm trying to escape from using certain material in a story I'm working on...

Here's my disappointment...

DreamingSoul; Tuesday, November 27, 2007 - 06:01

No none of my work is out in the general public, and yes I wrote that...um... I use to call it a sin simply because it betrayed everything I was taught, as a christian. Well almost everything, or so I believed. And the reason I used that title was because it is one of the many nicknames of the protagonist, Luciami. I'll PM the details, but I ask, what was the inspiration for this story? I kinda thought that you had either read the book of genesis, or at least saw the story from somewhere.

Umm I was thinking the exact

Kurenai Ichi; Wednesday, November 28, 2007 - 01:42

Umm I was thinking the exact same thing. When I first started to write this I thought it was a sin as well and I kept on asking forgiveness and asking god if I should keep on writing or not, but eventualy I became selfish about it and decided that I didnt care because I know that if I put the story as fiction then noone will think of it otherwise, and if I am constantly thinking about how to incorperate the morals of a christian beleif in the story then it is not pulling me away from god so its all good. My inspiration was simply that I decided one day that I wanted to make a manga because I had the right friends and I like writing and drawing and japan XP I am a christian. I dont remember exactly what I thought it was gonna be about but one night ( I often get ideas when im doing something very routine, which is kewl cuz I got nothing realy to stop me from writing my ideas down while doing little things like showering or doing dishes.. wow.. alwayz near water.. KEWL ) as I was saying, one night.. I was doing a routine thing and all of a sudden the idea came to me, I got all excited and wrote it down and i've been working on it and constantly changing it ever sence. its been maybe a week and a half or 2 weeks. Oh and ummmmm interesting side fact, when I was writing this, like, creating the fake things that happened between god and the devil and adam and eve, I was like having to write FAKE in gigantic words on the paper so that I didnt confuse myself and loose faith, which almost happened, it was soo depressing, lol the life of a creative writer..

WTF? Are you my clone?

DreamingSoul; Wednesday, November 28, 2007 - 05:16

That's similar to what happened to me... Well it went like this: As I lied in my bed, awake on morning, Disturbed's song "Devour" got stuck in my head, and along with it the prologue of "Princess Of The Damned." So as I got out of bed, I thought, "This is a good idea for story. I gotta write this down before I lose it! So I got out of bed, went to my computer, and started to write it. At which point I thought Lucifer gave me the idea, because we all know the Anti-christ wouldn't want to betray his master... But I got over it, thinking hey, a writer writes what they want, so to heck with fear. But wow that's interesting... freaky interesting.

It sucks you know...

DreamingSoul; Saturday, December 1, 2007 - 06:27

As a christian, I sometimes felt that the restraints that many of our religion exhibit were the way we must act if we are to ascend to Heaven, but I learned that was a flat out lie...Besides Even though my story may not be dark enough. I would consider Mammon posing as God, and manipulating an organization of priests to be rather Blasphemous, no? So in a huge since Kurenai Ichi may turn out more successful with her story, because people love a happy ending, and the way I see it with those of our proud religion who follow the denominate stereotype, Seeing the Anti-christ find her true love, die, and then ascend to Heaven would not be a happy ending...

Yea I do find that story that you wrote rather blaspheiming. Im trying not to do the same thing with mine, its just going to take a while for me to come up with a worthy plot line, alot of thinking and right now its causing me much stress to think that hard. Yes Imma pessimist... I really expect that reaction to tell the truth. Next thing I know I'm in the same stereotype as Marylin Manson in being a Satanist, or a devil worshiper.... And I'm a trustworthy deep thinker.... However I'm sure someone will come along really soon.... You have a good captivating story arch, which is why it won't take long... Another thing is when I'm stuck in stressful situations like that, I often go off to find inspiration, or since my inspirational medium is music, I would sometimes listen to "Death/Heavy/ Christian Metal to fuel my imagination....( So far as "Princess Of The Damned' goes.) And sometimes I get inspiration from other sources of music... Because currently I'm listening to "I'll Make A Man Out Of You" from the movie "Mulan," and becoming ispired by the imagery that my mind's coming up with. But since I'm writing a christmas story I'm trying to use anything Christmas related( Both Commercial, and religious wise) To write it.

=D

killijoy; Saturday, January 5, 2008 - 15:49

Umm, as a bit of a writer myself, as well as an artist, I have a question (or maybe two, depending on how long I take to type this at 10.35 in the morning...)

Are you strictly working out of the book of Genesis, or will you be incorporating such books as the Book of Revelations, Exodus, Psalms, or any of the Gospels? Ok, so I'm not exactly Christian - actually a far stretch from it - but I did go to an all-girl's Catcholic school, so I naturally got curious as to what was exactly in that huge-butt book that about three different religions use some sort of text from. If you don't mind me making a suggestion, which I honestly have no right to do, but from your synopsis, you seem to be ending the world - is that what you mean by 'the beginning of the end'? If not, just ignore this, but errm, are you going to be using Revelations? The four horseriders, or the angels or anything like that? Also, Psalms is pretty good for some random poetry if you want to sprinkle it in. XD I just don't want you to only use Genesis if you don't know what's in the other books, because that would limit the writing power. Although I'm sure as a devoted Christian, you've probably read the entire thing (I'm missing two chapters...XD)...

Umm, also, how will you discern the humans from the vampires? Will there be certain techniques you use in your writing or your art? I mean, besides the whole pointy teeth, evil eye, hiss thing. (Does anyone understand my stupidity? TT.TT) Umm, how are the vampires going to work? Are they day vampires or strictly night vampires? Can they survive off animal blood? If you need any help in the demon/vampire/supernatural creature area, I do fancy myself a bit of an expert. I know a couple of kids in a vampire cult if that helps (might add some realism, plus you could learn about certain things vampires believe, like you never take the blood of certain animals, because it's treason against all vampires, and incorporate it...I don't know, just throwing it out there because I can see all the twists and turns this plot can take, and it sounds good.)

I hope you continue with it, because it sounds amazing! XD Good luck, and if I can do anything to help, let me know please!

Yes, actualy I have been

Kurenai Ichi; Saturday, January 5, 2008 - 20:29

Yes, actualy I have been having alot of trouble lately with the whole ending the world thing because I want it to be very... interesting. "First born" might turn into an animated movie rather than a series. And yes I am trying to incorporate the seals and the trumpets into this, and have characters actions cause the seals to break or something like that, its been giving me quite a headache to figure out how to do it properly or if it will work at all mostly because it gives me a headache trying to descypher all of that which is hidden in the book of revelations. I havn't thought about that angle in months actualy but I might go back to demons and archangels and angels instead of this vampire. I think it has more potential being with standard demons who can do whatever you make them do XP but there are so many directions and im trying to find out all of my options, so before I write anything more I have to get everything to its maximum potential first from begining to end because I cant afford to make a mistake and think that im stuck having to be limited, i dont want any boundaries to ruin the story's potential. Oh and yes I would appreciate anything, any ideas that come my way, my thoughts are too clouded when its only my brain doing all the work. <.<

And thank you for the psalms idea, the thought of putting some of them in had crossed my mind, as well as the proverbs, they are my favorite but I didnt think of it so lightly, thanks i agree it is definately a good idea.

also in answer to the question about telling the difference between the vampires and the humans, it will be verry obvious through the way they will act (in front of the viewer of the series XP), I want Hiyami to be elegant first of all XD and well the art work will make them look more appealing, standard beautifull elegant vampres :P

Pm me if you have any questions or you'd like any help on a particular sticky spot. I'll be more than glad to help out! XD Thanks for letting me make suggestions - I know a lot of authors who would kill me for making any suggestions to their piece.

Are you using a Catholic

Reiko Kitsune; Tuesday, January 8, 2008 - 21:48

Are you using a Catholic Bible or. . . I'm not sure how to refer to the Bible I read, but it could make a huge difference to your story.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've never has a heart, Never know love.
Yet you expect me to care, to care about you.
Now you're staring at me, You stare at me as your love fades to grey.
What did you expect, Did you expectg me to love, love you with a heart I've never had?
help?
Kurenai Ichi; Monday, January 21, 2008 - 18:13
I am not Catholic.. But I suppose you could say I will be taking certain elements out of their religion.. I chose to beleive in demons for this as well as vampires.
I've added a few things up top.. I'd like everyone to look at them and give me some feed if you will. I think the character info in particular is interesting. X)
EirinoYuki; Tuesday, February 19, 2008 - 03:48
hmmm... Sounds good I like how your trying to bring that even in Japan you can see the American faith. I like doing stories like this do. Im a little more detail on the Religions but thats me. I love the vampire turn when hes taken over by Akuma. If you are still looking to have someone draw it out for you I can do a few pages from the info you have here and upload them or e-mail them to you the draft.
just comment back. for the okay drafts.^w^
Yes, please do that. :) and
Kurenai Ichi; Tuesday, February 19, 2008 - 13:10
Yes, please do that. :) and i would like more detail on the religous bit, that is, my point is supposed to be that evils triumph can only be countered by love, because Satan does not understand love, he cannot feel it if u will. and so by taking advantage of this... well i dont realy waana say too much, but oh well, after Kyoko kisses Hiyami he has flash backs to their last day together,( new years eve) and b/c of that, the devils spell is overcome ( but he didnt see this cumming, b/c he doesnt kno that love is greater than evil, he's ignorant lol)
Well heres the small drafts
EirinoYuki; Thursday, February 21, 2008 - 19:30
Well heres the small drafts I did for the part of Hiyami. This is the way I thought it would be when he first gets taken over by Akuma.
This is going by the little info that was given. As for the other characters Ill draw Adam and Eve more in the region view as well as God but really I thought Ill be better to never see his face since its said that if looked at you will die.
3:00? Why I think its best to show Hiyami taken over at 3:00, it that its devils hour.
Ill upload the characters faces in my view and inked and toned to show the look.
Just tell me what style your looking for ect. but thats latter if you want me to go on with this and more detail.
I think the devils hour thing is a nice touch btw, thnx XP *shows on clock* - 3:00
... Are you sure, I thought that was gods hour.. . . .
And the entire part at the begining with Adam and eve and god and the devil (before you read about the characters and the plot) is just a prelude, that is ment to be typed and read but not illustrated, as, it is a prelude. Thats why I have revised it so many times, because if it is going to be read, it has to be perfect to get the full effect, I can totaly see it all drawn in my mind from reading that, cant you?
Sorry for not specifying on what style i wanted, I wasnt sure you were actually going to do this, but yes I am looking for a specific style.. Would you mind redoing those characters like in this style
