Okay. I've got an idea kicking around, but I've hit a snag at the character design stage. My protagonist is...large. Obese barely covers it. Problem is, I can't make him look right from the side. Ideally, his body should appear more-or-less spherical, whatever direction it's drawn from, but then I've never managed to get the head to sit correctly on it.

To give a better idea, here's an image I knocked out on my graphics tablet in 10 minutes. It's a really bad pic - I swear I'm a better artist than this! xD - and horribly pixelated, but you get the idea.

Any suggestions? If anyone wants to do a quick doodle of how they'd go about drawing it, that'd be awesome. But any advice will be welcome :)
