Ok, I love orange hair... but green hair is truly funky (in an awesome way!) I like the Shirt as is, it reminds me of the sailor scouts suit (just missing the bow) I always loved sailor Jupiter's suit, so maybe those colors could be used for the top (dark green and pink, or orange and blue). Oooo, and the patch on the parasol could be red with white dots (like a hobo!) I don't think the skirt should be black, because it would blend in with the boots too much, so Green?! I don't know... I think I am adding too much green... geesh. But I am leaaaning towards the colors of Green, Red, Orange, Black + a little pink here and there!

I'm glad you like it so much, Iko! :D And yeah, I kind of noticed your fascination with green...;p but I'm not even sure if the boots will be black (that wouldn't work out to well if the con people decide to put her on black t-shirts...x_x).

I was considering coloring her in a rainbow-ish style, kind of like a "raver." I'm still undecided about that, though.

So no black on the outer edges... Ok!!! The Raver sounds cool. NEON!!!

If I do the rainbow thing, I'd still have to make sure the colors don't completely clash with eachother. ~.~

have some yellow, yellow is a very eye catching color but dont use with red. that color combination is used too often

I think a little purple on the parasol would do nicely. And some other color for the wing with feathers (White is so...white. Pink, green, blue, maybe? Gold?).

Ah, hair. I saw a waiter with patches of green and blue in his black hair (When I say 'patches', they're not perfectly like a lpatch. Um...). That was cool. So maybe black hair tinged with blue or green at the bottom?

Unofortunately, my friends, due to my poor time management skills, I was unable to make the deadline for the contest. Woe is moi. :(

I only hope that whoever does win does a better job than I; that way, I'll feel content that a) something even better than what I came up with will be on the shirts and b) be consoled by the notion that I probably would have lost anyway. :)

I'm still going to finish it and share with you guys, of course! Later today, God-willing. ;3

There are completely different from what I thought they would be, the good kind of different.

You don't usually see darker skinned people wearing green, at least I don't, she looks really good in green.

Thanks! I like it too. I actually picked the color green by mistake when I was about to start her clothes. When I saw the green and brown next to each other I had one of those "Duh! Of course!" moments.

This one came out much better. ^_^ I like the skin toning, too. How do you get that gradiant-type feel to the skin color?

Well, I was playing around with the lighting options on Corel Painter wanting to get that effect but it diddn't work, so actually I used the sharpen tool and adjusted the shadow and highlight and it just turned out to be a nice effect.
