I like your style. It's very

Joamette Gil; Sunday, January 13, 2008 - 21:41

I like your style. It's very bold and fun, and it reminds me of Super Milk-Chan. :) The first one actually reminds me of Alice in Wonderland because of the size distortion. I also like that the line work is really clean.

While I like your handwriting, I think it would be more fitting for you to letter the comic digitally. You could probably even find some fonts that resemble your normal handwriting. The issue is that some letters and words are difficult to make out (such as the "y" in "crunchy"), especially in your creator commentary. Your audience shouldn't have to strain their eyes or devote serious concentration to simply reading the text on your page. ;)

Thank you for the input!

furubafan3; Wednesday, January 16, 2008 - 01:31

Thankyou for the input! :) The size distortion is unintentional I just always draw my bodies too small. (Can't do anatomy) Usually my handwriting is cleaner but I do see the advantages of using digital text. I'll try it next time, however I'd like to find a font that's not comic sans. You wouldn't happen to know of any sites where I could download some new fonts?

On another note I thought it'd be easier to post all my art in one place so this thread is going to be a bit of an open sketchbook.I hope you don't mind if I post an image in this comment.

Oh my gosh! I love your latest art work! So cute! However, the pocky box looks a little distorted to me, i'd just tweak the bottom line. Other then that i love it!

Plant; Wednesday, January 16, 2008 - 08:49

What should be half open?

furubafan3; Thursday, January 17, 2008 - 01:47

Sorry I'm just a bit confused. What pages are you talking about? Which drawing?

Seriously? That's weird. It

Dungionman 3; Friday, January 18, 2008 - 14:12

Seriously? That's weird.
It was totaly cool! How do you get that music to automatically play over and over with just a bar with pause, play, but no title? The one where you get to describe your own character n stuffs? I think it's called "Be your own temporary character" And How'd you make the picture not scroll down with the rest of the stuff? That was amazing!
I'm sure I cant make a website nearly 1/4 as good! Or a website at all!

Joamette Gil; Friday, January 18, 2008 - 17:15

Wait, wait wait. Emptypot is Furubafan's sister? Just trying to get my ducks in a row here. o.o*

Actually, Furuba, if you look WAY up high there at the top of this page, up by the search box, you'll find a big red link called "Linkage." Click on it for a nice bunch of comics-helpful links including a "Fun With Fonts" section. ;)

To answer your question

furubafan3; Friday, January 18, 2008 - 22:43

Of COURSE you can make a site. Mel used piczo.com it's totally kid friendly so anyone can make a site without knowing any html. BUT
Mah site is better! XD I kid I kid I'd show you it if I wasn't making a new layout for it. Anywho

Well I think the music player on that player was borrowed from another site. BUT I do know of some good music players you can use that are around that same size. twango.com has a nice music player where you can upload music files and use their codes to put on your site. You can also use mp3-codes.com it's a pretty reliable site.

That's a WICKED EASY code. I'm too lazy to explain the code but here's a simple tutorial you can use to get that effect. [bold]Note this tutorial was made for a piczo site BUT if you're not using piczo you can easily change the code around. [/bold]

Emptypot; Saturday, January 19, 2008 - 00:17

I used a web hosting site (piczo.com) It's very simple and easy to use. I used basic HTML too. It's wicked easy!

(Btw, You are Carol I presume?)
