Ichigo is about to discover that not all souls are bound for the soul society, especially if it's tainted with innocent blood...
Review:
While not as good as the first volume, Goodbye Parakeet, Goodnight my Sister is still a decent read. The short-term plot (the talking parakeet etc.)is quite compelling, and strands are brought in that further the long term plot. Also, at this stage the introduction of the protagonists is over, and a bit of character development takes place, particularly regarding Chad. A new character, Kon, is also introduced, one of my favourites, as he's a laugh from the very start! In fact, this book is very light, being more about silly jokes than usual, but it's still worth reading, particularly if you intend to read the rest of the series. Vol. 2 is a bit of a let-down compared to 1 and 3, but in itself it's a decent manga, and well worth 75%-80%
