Death Note is about a bored and intelligent High School student, named Light, who lives in Japan. One day he finds a strange black notebook. There is an instruction manual, which states that you must have the person&#039;s name and how you want them to die. If you don&#039;t specify , the person will die of a heart attack. He writes the name of a criminal he sees on TV. The person instantly dies. Afterwards, he begins to see a shinigami, a messenger of death.
