Need... sleep...

Been a long time since I've posted anything to my blog.

Well, I am almost done with this term of classes (next week is finals) and I just started working at the library at my college. I work in the Electronic Learning Center (ELC) handling all of the DVDs, VHS tapes, computers, etc. When I was hired for the job I was told that it was a really boring job, but that was quite wrong. Although it does get boring sometimes, there are plenty of times when I get swarmed with 5-6 people at the same time.

This new job, plus my class work, and my participation at Wizard World Philly this past weekend has worn me out.

I'm Back Home (Finally)

I am finally home and ready to go to classes in a few hours, after missing my first day of classes yesterday.

A friend and I decided that it would be cool to go to the NASCAR race on Sunday at Martinsville, VA. It was really fun, except the part where my car's water pump broke and we had to stay an extra day to get it fixed (luckily we could get it fixed so fast). Oye, what a time that was. Well, at least I get to move into my apartment (aka: rented room) now.

Must... Use... Vacation...

Well, I only have 4 more weeks of working at my crappy job until I get to go back to school. Yay! Philly, here I come! But before that, I have a week of paid vacation I can use and I don't know when to use it. I have to use a day on March 31st to go to a NASCAR race that weekend and I may use one for my birthday, but I don't know when I should use the other 3 days.

Also, I may be going to New York Comic-Con this weekend. Now, if I get to go, I need to borrow a camera (or buy a new one). Although my main purpose for going is just to play in a card tournament (Fullmetal Alchemist TCG, if you must know) I should have plenty of time to wander around and (hopefully) pick up some nice swag. However, even if I don't get to go to NYCC, I will be going to Wizard World Philly (yay!) and, maybe, AnimeNEXT. So many cons, so little money.

As the Palaces Burn

It's been a while since I've come on and posted anything. That can be attributed to my car breaking down and me having to get it fixed. Stupid transmission leak. Besides that, however, not much has been going on with me.

I did, however, come across a good anime music radio. Completely free streaming anime music can be found here. You need to have Winamp or RealPlayer installed to get the best quality, but you can also use Windows Media Player.

Blech.

*sigh* I wish time could go by faster. Then I could get back to college and hopefully things could go better for me. Right now my mom is in the hospital, I don't exactly know what happened, and it SUCKS! Where's my time machine?

Work work work, I'm tired of work.

Oye. I'm tired of working so much. It's nice to work full-time and have money, but it's just such a pain, especially working at Light-Wage. At least I got to do something interesting at work today, if only for a couple of hours. Reprogramming laser calibrators isn't so bad. Maybe I should try to get out of manufacturing and move to a different department. I hate to say it, but I think I would rather be back at college. Oh well, only 3 more months of this.
