My little (public?) diary.

Dungionman 3 - Tuesday, November 27, 2007 - 14:51

Should I have this blog as a diary? One that can be read
and commented? The only bummer is I have to choose wisely
what I type, I never do. What do you think?

*shrug* It's your choice.

Anime Punk Joey; Tuesday, November 27, 2007 - 20:55

*shrug* It's your choice. Sometimes just writing about something is enough to make you feel better, in which case writing stuff down then ripping it up would work fine. Others like to archive their thoughts so they can read them again later, in which case a blog or a paper diary would both work. But for some people it's not enough just to write something; they need to tell it to others somehow.

If sharing your thoughts with others is important to you, than go ahead with the blog diary. It's true that you're limited by what you feel comfortable sharing, but, unless that limitation bothers you tremendously, I say go for it.

Aw, don't erase graffiti. Graffiti is your friend. :O

*ahem*

Ladder method? What on earth are they teaching you, Carolyn? Maybe I could explain it in a simpler fashion.

Yea, but I wrote "Teachers suck" on a bathroom stall wall at school!
As for the ladder method, it's unexplainable! Thats how tough it is!

Go to the right-side menu

Anime Punk Joey; Friday, December 14, 2007 - 07:02

Go to the right-side menu and click the link that says "My Account." Once you're there, click on the "Edit" tab. Go to the field containing your user name and just type in whatever different one you'd like. :)

And a stem-and-leaf plot is just a fancy way to organize a group of numbers into a table. It's most useful when you've got a bunch of numbers that start with a common digit.

For example, let's say you have this group of numbers:

95,86,93,84,91,72,76,74,92,92,95,99,85,83,88,86,90,79

There are lots of 90s, 80s, and 70s in there, so you could organize it into a stem-and-leaf plot like this:

7 | 2,4,6,9
8 | 3,4,5,6,6,8
9 | 0,1,2,2,3,5,5,9

7,8, and 9 are your "stems" [like on a plant] and the other digits are your "leaves" [like on a plant stem].

This is one way organizing a group of numbers to make it easier to interpret them. Let's say all of those numbers represent the ages of people at a retirement home. A question someone might ask you is, "Of the following age ranges, which one is best represented at the home: age 70-79, age 80-89, or age 90-99?"

By looking at your stem-and-leaf plot, it becomes clear that the answer is "age 90-99" since the 9-"stem" has the most "leaves."

Hee, so, does that help at all? ^_^*

Ok, I was bored to death, so I googled "bratz are sluts" and found this "Green moms" thing about the dolls, and it just totaly changed how I thought of barbies, because barbies are just stupid, they wear clothaes that cover them enough, and I am now persuaded into thinking that yeah, bratz are sexist, but parents are the ones who put it into yer head that they dress terrible.

Am I persuaded easily, or is this wise moms explaining how they feel?
