As you can see, my name's Hitomi. It's very nice to meet you all.

A few things about me...

-Big anime and manga fan
-Loves to draw and write
-Also loves to play video games
-Is quite the tomboy
-Is a college student
-Is Filipino, but is born in New York in the US
-Quite stubborn, doesn't know when to give up
-Has a violent temper; though I do joke around with it, you'll know when you really piss me off
-Is working on a manga project (XD Which I shall post in the self-promotion section later)
-Is in a long term, but long distance, relationship for three years and three, going on four, months

My manga project - Yami no Hikari: Anraaki Rabaa

Yami no Hikari: Anraaki Rabaa - Light of the Darkness: Unlucky Lover.

Inspiration: The three anime; AIR, Kanon, and Clannad (which were, originally, visual novels/H-games/Dating Sims before they became anime/manga). Can't forget the game, Harvest Moon, either, which sparked the harem idea more and gave me the idea of the love rivals (love rivals being guys in here) who challenge the main guy for the girls' affections.

Summary: It seems that everyone in the group has love issues. Throw in girls who can't seem to get a guy with their personalities while the love rivals, having love issues of their own, challenge the main guy if he were to have affection for one of the five girls. And also... How can you know somebody from a long time ago when you never knew them at all or, at least, don't remember them? Prophecies have been made and are also about to come true... And the web of Fate continues to weave...

I can't help but love the many genres of music

I can't help but to sometimes appreciate the fact that I use Music as an inspirational medium for writing stories, and creating manga. Because there are times when I experience "writer's block," and when I listen to a song from any of the "playlists," I constructed for being the soundtrack for my stories, the block begins to erode... About three weeks ago, I developed a story that was inspired by "The SpiderWick Chronicles," that I titled "Elemental Ruin." It held many elements that made it similar to SpiderWick at the time I thought it up, while bringing in groceries from a shopping trip, while Rob Dougan's Instrumentals for his song "I'm Not Driving Anymore" got stuck in my head.
